Andrea Jane Corr, MBE Andrea Jane Corr, MBE is an Irish singer-songwriter and musician. Corr's debut was in 1990, when she was joined by her siblings Caroline Sharon, Jim and Jim as members of The Corrs. Andrea Corr was born in Ireland and is a singer-songwriter as well as a musician and actor. She has been awarded the distinction of being a member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) and is one of the Celtic folk and pop-rock band The Corrs. As the lead vocalist and multi-instrumentalist of The Corrs, she is also the group's leader. Beginning her acting career in 1991 Andrea later emerged as an accomplished musician as well as a actor on stage. Andrea was voiced by the character of The Quest for Camelot, a Warner Bros. cartoon film released in 1998. With six studio albums two compilation albums two live albums and one remix album to her credit Andrea is firmly established as an artist with a variety of talents. She has been felicitated by her charity work as well. Andrea and her boyfriend Stockbroker has two children. Andrea's very first musical lesson was to learn the Tin horn. Gerry taught Andrea to play the piano. Andrea is also a ukulele player. She spent the teenage years learning to play the instrument. She would sing with her brothers and was eventually promoted to the position that of lead singer for the group. Andrea was a student in Dun Lughaidh Convent and was a part of various school productions.
