Ward was the first baby born in MonroeLouisiana on 15 April 1976. Monroe Christian School was her private Christian primary school. She was a student at Ouachita High School to pursue her second year of education. She then transferred from there to River Oaks High School after the summer. After her graduation the school she attended was Northeast Louisiana University. Ward left her high school at 13 and started modeling. A few years afterward she made the decision to try acting. She first appeared on screen in 1970. an uncredited part in the soap-opera All My Children and was later a part of the short-lived NBC prime-time teen-drama Malibu Shores. She landed the role of Meg Cummings, a virgin at Sunset Beach in 1996. In 1999 she started a film career. She starred in The In Crowd as psychotic Brittany Foster. It was a commercial disappointment in theatres, but it did find some commercial success with home-video and cable. In 2009she landed the role Chloe Kmet kothe mother of one of the gymnas in the ABC Family Drama series Make It or Break It as a member of the cast in the show's first two seasons.
